My Small Group Meeting in Local Church, M.Y.

I love the local church. The believers in the local church love each other and enjoy the Lord together. I am especially impressed with the small group meeting I attend. Last year I met with the local church in Irvine, California and every Friday I just couldn't wait to go to my small group meeting. During the meetings we always enjoy the Lord. The following is a portion of a song that we sang through which I touched the Lord and really experienced that my life is not empty any more:

Give up the world, Christ to obtain,

He is your heart's very need;

What else can you desire or seek?

All things are empty indeed!

He is so rich, He is so full.

He can fulfill all your needs!

He is so good, He is so sweet!

All your desire He exceeds!

Many friends received the Lord in my small group meeting. Everyone has an important role in the meeting. Some bring their friends, some do the cooking, and all share their wonderful experiences of Christ. Why do I meet with other Christians every Friday night in a small group meeting? It is because where two or three are gathered in the Lord's name, He is there in our midst. I feel warm and cherished. I find life and peace. I am filled with joy. My spiritual hunger is satisfied. I am grateful to the Lord for such meetings in the local church.

Rich in God's Life

Everyone likes to be a rich person. Me too. But by reading Winess Lee's ministry on the Bible, I discovered another kind of richness unrelated to money: this is to be rich in God's life. Now I know the meaning of my human life. Now I know God's heart and feeling toward people. I know that, as a Christian, Christ lives in me and I want to live for Christ.
